The SCOUTER Red Dot represents the inaugural optical sight from the SIOPTO product line, developed through collaboration between SIOPTO and Strike Industries engineers. This precision CQB/CQC aiming solution delivers essential functionality at a competitive price point and performs reliably in austere conditions. The sight features a one-piece housing machined from solid billet 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, paired with an included absolute height mounting base—both CNC machined for a rugged yet refined HOOD design.
The optical system delivers no parallax and unlimited eye-relief, with a wide 20mm field of view (FOV) to enable quick target acquisition and smooth target transitions. A collimated wedge lens with multi-layer coating provides a sharp, clear sight picture. The reticle uses specially customized European mini micro-LED technology to generate a crystal-clear red dot reflection on the 20mm objective lens.
Power management is handled by efficient circuitry that extends battery life to just over two (2) years at illumination level #6. The rigid SIOPTO-designed battery cover protects the power source. Motion activation automatically powers the sight on when movement is detected and shuts it off after two (2) hours of inactivity. An 11-position push button switch provides precise illumination adjustment.
