Taylor’s and Company presents the Howdah Alaskan, a modern reproduction of the iconic Auto & Burgel model originally manufactured by Ithaca Company around 1920. Chambered for .45 Colt/.410 (3 inch shells) and offered as a pistol, this 10.25 inch revolver features rifled barrels and a matte chrome finish. The design incorporates a tang safety, manual shell extractors, and a flip-up rear sight paired with a brass bead front sight. The walnut stock is finished with a black rubberized coating for enhanced grip.
The operating mechanism cocks the internal hammers as the action opens, while dual triggers allow you to select which barrel to fire—the front trigger fires the right barrel and the rear trigger fires the left barrel. The forend piece and barrels disassemble in the same manner as a traditional side by side shotgun.
