TriggerTech’s Special model trigger for the Remington Model 700 delivers a two-stage mechanism with adjustable pull weight and Zero Creep Technology. This two-stage design incorporates four separate safety points, providing one of the safest Remington 700 triggers ever designed while also enhancing performance.
Trigger-pull weight is adjustable through an externally accessible set screw, allowing you to customize both stages of the pull with measurements between 8-24 ounces for the first stage and 8-32 ounces for the second stage. As a drop-in trigger, it provides a true zero-creep break and extremely short overtravel. Hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and extended service life, delivering outstanding reliability in even the harshest environments.
Four integrated safety mechanisms work together: a Ticker Blocker prevents ticker movement while the rifle is on safe, a Sear Blocker prevents sear movement while the rifle is on safe, a First-Stage Lockout prevents the first stage of the trigger pull from moving while the rifle is on safe, and a final safety blocks the ticker until the first stage is cleared even during the trigger pull. The PVD Black finish is a hard and durable coating applied to external stainless components to deliver a clean black color.
