The Trijicon 1-8×28 VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) Commercial SCO is a rugged variable magnification riflescope engineered for close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. This scope is functionally identical to the USMC Squad Common Optic (SCO) VCOG. Built with a forged aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum housing, the VCOG delivers near-indestructible durability. The optics provide exceptional clarity and color reproduction with zero distortion.
The universal segmented circle / MRAD crosshair dot with wind holds reticle accommodates multiple calibers, ammunition weights, and barrel lengths across different platforms. As a first focal plane design, the reticle maintains true subtensions and drops at any magnification, enabling quick and accurate hold application. The ruggedized LED reticle is powered by a lithium AA battery (provided) and delivers 633 hours of battery life at setting 6.
The scope features 11 user-selectable brightness settings, comprising 2 night vision settings, 8 day settings, and 1 super-bright setting. An integrated dial fin enables smooth rotation through the magnification range, while near-constant eye relief eliminates the need for head or stock position adjustments. The scope is waterproof to 20 meters (66 ft.).
