The Trijicon VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a variable magnification riflescope built for both close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. Its forged aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum housing delivers exceptional durability. The scope features superior glass with exceptional clarity and color rendering, free from distortion. The universal segmented circle/MRAD crosshair dot reticle accommodates multiple calibers, ammunition weights, and barrel lengths across different platforms. Positioned in the first focal plane, the reticle maintains true subtensions and drops at any magnification, enabling shooters to apply the correct hold quickly and accurately. The LED reticle uses ruggedized electronics built to withstand demanding use. A single lithium AA battery powers the scope, providing 633 hours of battery life at setting 6. The illumination system offers 11 user-selectable brightness settings, comprising 2 night vision settings, 8 day settings, and 1 super-bright setting. An integrated dial fin enables smooth rotation through the magnification range, while near-constant eye relief eliminates the need for head or stock position adjustments.
