Underwood Ammo’s 50 Beowulf ammunition features FMJ-FN bullets—non-expanding, powerfully penetrative rounds engineered with woods defense in mind. Whether facing wild hogs or black bears, these bullets deliver consistent stopping power on large game. The flat nose design pierces through dense body mass while maintaining nose-forward positioning for optimal penetration, unlike traditional round nose non-expanding bullets.
This is new production, non-corrosive ammunition in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases. Loaded for the 12.7×42 cartridge, it’s designed for use in .50 Beowulf firearms. Each round fires a 350-grain copper-lead bullet at 1775 feet per second, generating 2449 ft lbs of muzzle energy. The supersonic velocity keeps the projectile traveling faster than the speed of sound. The bullet carries a Sectional Density (SD) of 0.2, which measures how effectively the bullet’s mass is distributed to overcome resistance during penetration.
The 0.5″ caliber bullet is safe to use in a suppressor, making this ammunition an effective choice for the ultimate in self-defense applications. Each box contains 20 loaded pieces of ammunition. This ammo is a proven round for hunting.
