The switch features a 45-degree angled button face engineered for proper activation geometry, allowing reliable indexing even under stress, while wearing protective equipment, or in demanding environmental conditions. Constructed from high-impact polymer, the Axon SL withstands field use and rough handling. The mechanical switch mechanism supports both momentary and constant-on firing modes with a conventional click tail cap design for weapon lights. Laser-equipped versions employ a momentary-only switch to work seamlessly with the native double-tap constant feature integrated into most standard laser systems.
