The Warne Maxima 1 Inch Fixed Picatinny Scope Mount features fixed rings engineered to work with Weaver style cross slot bases. Both front and rear rings incorporate a Warne square stainless steel recoil control key that creates a no-slip positive recoil surface across the entire slot of the base, capable of withstanding heavy recoil while protecting against swaging or peening of the bases when mounted on softer or less durable materials.
The rings are substantially wider than standard designs, providing additional clamping surface around the scope to hold the optic firmly in place. They are designed to fit Warne bases as well as all Weaver cross slot and Mil-Spec Picatinny style bases and rails.
