Featuring an 18″ barrel, 3″ chamber, matte black receiver, black composite pistol grip stock, and removable TruGlo fiber optic front sight, this 38.5″ overall length shotgun weighs 7 lbs. 8 oz. The Shadow Defender includes an Invector-Plus flush choke system with side-mounted Picatinny accessory rails.
The Winchester SXP Pump action is extraordinary, using dual-action bars and a spring-loaded, four-lug, rotating bolt head with lugs that rotate behind corresponding lugs on the barrel extension to guarantee unwavering lockup. When the gun is fired, the bolt springs partially open by itself and initiates the pumping action—this is why many people believe the SXP is capable of the fastest reloading in its class.
Two user-interchangeable comb pieces and height-adjust spacers let you tune comb height for perfect eye-to-sight alignment with your choice of sighting systems. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Winchester scope bases and rings, allowing you to easily attach an optional scope or electronic sight.
