The Winchester SXP Universal Hunter is a high-performance pump-action shotgun built around an inertia-assisted slide-action mechanism capable of firing three shots in half a second. This 20-gauge model features an aluminum alloy receiver and barrel paired with a composite stock finished in Mossy Oak DNA camouflage. The 26″ ventilated rib barrel accommodates a 3″ chamber and incorporates back-bored technology engineered to deliver tighter, more consistent shot patterns. Chrome plating on the chamber and bore resists rust and corrosion, even with steel or high-density shot.
The ambidextrous safety button reverses for left-handed operation. An enlarged trigger guard opening accommodates gloved hands, while four massive rotary bolt lugs ensure strong lockup and enhanced reliability. E-Coating protects the magazine tube against wear and corrosion, and the Inflex Technology Recoil Pad redirects recoil force to reduce felt recoil at the cheek.
The package includes three Invector-Plus choke tubes, a TRUGLO fiber-optic sight, and sling swivel studs. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Winchester scope bases and rings, enabling custom optics mounting. The Mossy Oak DNA finish provides durable, full-coverage camouflage across hunting seasons and terrain, making the Universal Hunter equally suited to dove fields, timber, or open water.
