The Winchester XPR is an innovative rifle engineered to meet the performance expectations of today’s demanding hunters. Built as a rugged, no-nonsense rifle, the feature-packed XPR bolt-action delivers the lasting quality Winchester Repeating Arms is known for.
At the core of every XPR rifle is Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System. The trigger housing and all internal components feature polished and hardened carbon steel construction with a blued finish for durability and corrosion resistance. A two-position safety operates conveniently with your firing hand thumb, while the bolt release button—located just forward of the safety—allows you to cycle unfired cartridges with the safety engaged. The cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both tactile and visual confirmation of the rifle’s cocked or uncocked state.
The robust XPR bolt is machined from chromoly steel barstock and through-hardened during heat treatment. Its three front locking lugs and short 60-degree lift improve scope clearance during cycling. A nickel Teflon coating ensures smooth operation and corrosion resistance. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design incorporates a generous guard opening for shooting with gloves.
The chromoly steel barrel is precisely button-rifled to deliver outstanding accuracy across a wide range of bullet weights and types, with full free-floating construction to eliminate accuracy-robbing pressure points. The XPR includes a drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver, synthetic stock with Inflex Technology recoil pad, and detachable single stack box magazine. In 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22-inch barrel and Flat Dark Earth finish, the XPR will put meat in your freezer for many years to come.
