At the core of every XPR rifle is Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System. A two-position safety operates conveniently with your firing-hand thumb. The bolt release button, positioned just in front of the safety, allows you to cycle unfired cartridges while the safety remains engaged. The cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both tactile and visual confirmation of the rifle’s cocked or uncocked state.
The XPR bolt is crafted from chromoly steel barstock and through-hardened during heat-treatment. Its design features three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift for improved scope clearance during cycling.
