XS DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights deliver superior front sight visibility across all lighting conditions. The DXT2 Big Dot design emphasizes front sight focus through an industry-leading large, high-contrast front element paired with a low profile V-notch rear. The front sight features a patent pending glow dot that absorbs light and glows in low light levels before darkness is sufficient to activate the tritium. Optic Orange delivers high-contrast aiming in bright conditions while maintaining visibility as light decreases. The optic orange formulation is primarily yellow with a hint of red to preserve visibility in low light when uncharged. The convex dot’s increased surface area maximizes light absorption, intensifying the glow properties. The dot-the-i sight picture—tritium dot front, tritium bar rear—eliminates confusion between front and rear sight during high-stress situations. In most gunfights, both parties are moving and the defender’s attention is fixed on the threat. The wide field of view enhances visibility of both the front sight and the target downrange. The Big Dot has an Outside Diameter of 0.188″ and fits in common holsters. Installation may require filing to fit the sight to dovetail.
