XS Sights’ R3D Night Sights are engineered specifically for the Kimber K6S revolver to deliver reliable target acquisition in any lighting condition. This green front and rear set is calibrated to zero with .38 Special ammunition. The sights employ a traditional 3-dot tritium design with notch and post sight picture, combining a tritium front sight with XS Sights’ proprietary photoluminescent green Glow Dot that captures ambient light and radiates in darkness, paired with a 2-dot tritium blacked-out rear sight that illuminates for proper alignment without overwhelming the front sight for precise indexing.
Each sight is CNC machined from solid steel bar stock in XS Sights’ in-house machine shop. The front blade is 0.145″ (3.68 mm) wide, and the rear notch measures 0.170″ (4.32 mm) wide, providing enhanced visibility of the front sight. Green delivers superior performance in low-light environments and produces the brightest glow intensity available. The front sight tritium lamp exceeds the brightness of the 2 rear lamps, minimizing the risk of confusing the front tritium vial with a rear vial when light is limited or absent.
Your kit includes a front sight, roll pin, rear sight, hex wrench, red threadlocker, and an instruction insert. Gunsmith installation is recommended, and the front sight will require drilling for the retention pin. These sights do not fit the Kimber K6xS.
