XS offers a hand-polished brass bead with a convex face that reflects more light than flat-faced factory or competitor offerings, delivering the cleanest view and best reflection of ambient light. Brass is less expensive and more durable than gold, and this bead is hand polished using Flitz polishing products with a light protective layer to minimize oxidization. The retro classic brass front sight is optimized for range or field use, though brass does not replace tritium on an EDC revolver.
The Standard Dot front measures 0.140" and features a classic retro high visibility design. The sight body is constructed from durable CNC machined steel. The kit includes a front sight, blue threadlocker, hex wrench for front sight set screw, and an insert with instructions.
