Arms East LLC is a firearm distribution and export company operating from the Gun-Shine State of Florida.

Our parent company was founded in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada in 2005 with a mission to provide Canadian Military and Law Enforcement with the best tools for their purpose, and to support and expand the long tradition of marksmanship and sport shooting in Canada.  We were determined to bring as many AR-15 and AR-10 rifles and handguns to Canadian sporting and professional shooters as was humanly possible. We were good at it. Arms East became a leading supplier of our favorite firearms and parts to professional and recreational shooters across the Dominion. 

In 2008, our founder met a man who had invented what the world needed, a truly improved and reliable trigger assembly for the M16/M4/C7/C8 family of weapons.  This trigger gave up no operational safety to the traditional OEM trigger, yet offered vastly improved shot-release control as a two-stage trigger.  It offered reliable ignition though a full strength hammer-spring, while having less implied weight of pull.   Its improved geometry would hit the ‘sweet spot’ of the firing pin,  imparting no vibration to the firearm improving inherent accuracy of the rifle.  The trigger was superbly manufactured and had a lifespan at least as long as what it would replace.   We wanted to see this trigger in every Police and Military firearm in Canada.    That man was Mr. William “Bill” Geissele, the company Geissele Automatics.  Today, we are closer than ever to seeing this goal achieved.   Geissele Automatics SSA triggers are the standard trigger for the RCMP’s Colt Canada C-8 Patrol Carbine.  These and others including the SSF-SOPMOD are in massive national service in Canada by National Defence as well as Provincial and Local law enforcement organizations.  Arms East Canada proudly remains the exclusive Canadian distributor for professional use to this day.  We don’t forget about our sport shooters as well, and hope to have this market return to Canada in the future. 

In 2014 we were welcomed to the United States where we expanded our operations to better serve Canadian, American and international Customers. In the United State we are pleased to deal with all 13 former Colonies, the South, the Western Territories, the Republic of Texas, and Alaska.  We are happy to be here and will never stop appreciating the ability to operate in a free and permissive environment. 

Our Canadian sales operation continues to support Law Enforcement and Military with our core product lines.  Our logistics team in Ottawa, Ontario handles retail imports, customs clearance and postal forwarding of licensed items purchased here by Canadian end users.  Sadly, after the vast majority of our retail sales in Canada were banned by decree by the Canadian govt in massive attacks on shooting sports in 2022 and 2022, we closed our Newfoundland office.

In 2023 Arms East officially entered the European Union with the opening of Arms East Defence Sp. z o.o., Poland.  With full licensing, a dedicated staff and secure facilities now in place, we have begun with excitement to write this company chapter.  

Arms East has formed an integrated global network for the lawful and licensed movement of arms and ammunition. We export to many countries on most continents. We are fully licensed to import, export and distribute from each of our companies, moving firearms, components and ammunition to and from the United States, Canada, Poland, the European Union and onward.

We have worked hard with our manufacturing partners and technology to build and maintain our market-leading real-time inventory live product catalog comprising of 10 fulfillment centers in three countries with a massive inventory of over 40,000 products in-stock and ready to ship.
