The Wraithworks WARP-15 is a monolithic polymer AR-15 style receiver manufactured from injection-molded 30% glass-filled nylon. The design integrates the buttstock, buffer tube, pistol grip, and trigger as integral components of the receiver itself.
This manufacturing approach delivers tangible benefits: reduced weight relative to comparably equipped receivers, lower cost relative to comparably equipped receivers, and faster production with fewer sub-components to assemble—a significant advantage during high-demand market periods.
Key features include compatibility with most standard AR-15 uppers and lower parts kits, a flared magwell for reliable reloads under pressure, and an A1 13″ Length of Pull buttstock designed to accommodate a wide range of shooters. The rear of the stock incorporates MLOK slots for sling attachment points or strap routing, while the front features holes for QD socket inserts. Additional details include a “Winter” trigger guard, Wraithworks exclusive heavy-texture pistol grip, and Wraithworks exclusive injection-molded buttplate with trap door.
The complete Mil-Spec FCG lower comes with Mil-Spec FCG, KP-15 Optimized Selector, KP-15 Long Hammer Pin, Carbine Buffer and Spring, Buffer Detent Assembly, Mil-Spec Mag Catch Assembly, Bolt Catch Assembly, KP-15 Take Down/Pivot Pins, and buttplate.
The WARP-15 uses a Carbine buffer and spring only—do not use anything other than standard carbine buffers and round springs or the JP SCSS in this receiver. The Take Down and Pivot Pins feature integral detents, eliminating separate spring and detent holes for increased durability. The buffer detent, when used, is secured with a 5/64″ Roll Pin. The receiver is compatible with all Mil-Spec Fire Control Groups and cassette-style match triggers including the KE Arms DMR and SLT units; the D-Clip retention system in these triggers makes them better suited for the WARP-15 than designs requiring captured pins. The hammer pin area is wider for durability; standard AR-15 hammer pins work, though a longer hammer pin option is available for flush aesthetics. Safety selector spring and detent load from the top before the selector slides over them—standard selectors can be difficult to remove, so Wraithworks recommends its optimized mil-spec or optimized ambi selector for easier removal.
The WARP-15 is compatible with standard AR-15 uppers in .223/5.56mm NATO, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, 6.5mm Grendel, 6.8mm SPC, and .350 Legend; use the appropriate weight carbine buffer for your rifle to eject casings at 3:00–4:00. For 9mm blowback systems, a 5.4oz carbine buffer minimum is required—use heavier buffers as long as your gun cycles reliably, as failure to meet this minimum buffer weight can damage the lower. Big bore calibers including .450 Bushmaster, .458 SOCOM, .50 Beowulf, and .50 BMG are not tested sufficiently by Wraithworks to guarantee function and durability over time—use at your own risk.
