Built around the legendary Weatherby Mark V steel action, this rifle features a fluted two-toned cerakoted barrel and is equipped with a Peak 44 vertical grip carbon fiber stock that prioritizes both reduced weight and shooter comfort.
The Peak 44 Bastion stock is engineered as one of the lightest production vertical grip carbon fiber stocks available, weighing just 23 ounces. It incorporates an ambidextrous palm swell and substantial thumb groove to support proper shooting form, while dual swivel studs on the forend provide multiple mounting options for accessories. This stock enables shooters to maintain accuracy and comfort across all shooting positions, whether on the range or in demanding field conditions.
The 3DHEX recoil pad stands out as the first 3D printed pad in production firearms. Its internal geometry features interlocking voids that progressively collapse during recoil, extending the recoil impulse duration and reducing the sharp kick characteristic of magnum chamberings. This design results in less felt recoil and improved downrange accuracy.
The bolt body incorporates spiral fluting that decreases weight, reduces bearing surface within the action, and promotes smoother bolt operation.
