The SureFire Warden Direct Thread Blast Regulator is engineered for 5.56 and 7.62 mm weapons to direct the concussive blast of the fired round forward of the weapon system without venting gas to the side as seen with standard muzzle brakes. This design reduces the overpressure felt by shooters positioned immediately to the left and/or right of the firing line. It also limits dust signature from the weapon when fired from a prone position. The Warden enhances weapon appearance while protecting barrel threads from damage or fouling, and is available in 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 threaded configurations.
Unlike sound suppressors, the Warden is not an NFA device and can be purchased without any of the restrictions associated with suppressors. The rugged heat-treated stainless steel body and durable Cerakote finish protect exposed barrel threads from damage while enhancing weapon appearance. The diffuser design directs concussion muzzle blast forward, mitigating dust signature when the weapon is fired from a position near the ground. Measuring 3.0 inches in length and weighing just 6.1 ounces, the Warden minimizes effect on weapon handling characteristics.
