The Magpul M-LOK AFG (Angled Fore Grip) represents the evolution of research and design refinements applied to the original AFG and AFG-2 models. By combining direct-attach M-LOK mounting with minimalist engineering, Magpul delivers a high-strength grip weighing just 1.2 ounces complete with hardware. The M-LOK AFG is .75″ shorter than the AFG-2, yet preserves comparable gripping surface area while opening up additional mounting location possibilities.
Unlike conventional vertical foregrips, the angled design positions the shooter’s hand high on the centerline of the bore to help mitigate recoil and improve weapon control for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The grip accounts for natural body mechanics to provide a stable, comfortable interface that reduces hand fatigue and enhances precise weapon manipulation.
