The GBRS Group Lerna is a standalone optic mount engineered with a 2.91″ Optic Centerline to improve target identification when equipment like EarPro/Comms headsets, Gas masks/CBRN, and Night vision systems are in use. The elevated sight line promotes a more athletic shooting posture with a natural heads-up attitude, enabling shooters to maintain a vertical spine and present body armor or plates toward the threat while improving processing speed and situational awareness. This height also reduces neck strain during extended periods of use.
The mount body is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with MIL A 8625 Type 3 Class 2 hard coat anodize. It features 17-4 PH stainless steel clamp bars, Melonite QPQ-treated screws, and passivated black oxide washers to handle demanding conditions and long-term use. At 4.0 ounces with an optic mounted, the Lerna delivers lightweight performance without sacrificing rugged strength. The mount is compatible with all EOTECH Holographic Weapon Sights (HWS) Series optics or similar footprints.
