The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild was designed in partnership with Remi Warren, a rifle built for hunting adventures with accuracy and dependability as core priorities. Built on the signature Mark V multi-lug bolt system with nine locking lugs, the action safely handles high-pressure magnum cartridges with exceptional strength and safety. The Mark V’s 54-degree bolt throw is the shortest in the industry, delivering smooth and fast cycling.
The spiral fluted barrel is threaded 1/2×28 for suppressor use and includes a recoil-reducing Accubrake ST. The barreled action features Carbon Grey Cerakote finish, shielding it from the elements. A deeply-fluted bolt trims weight and reduces bearing surface within the action for smoother operation. The TriggerTech trigger is externally adjustable with a pull range of 2.5lbs–5lbs. Starting at 5.6 lbs, the Live Wild rifle won’t weigh you down while trekking deep into the backcountry.
The .240 Weatherby Magnum delivers 3,500 fps muzzle velocity and is considerably faster than any existing standard 6mm cartridge. The .240 was the last rifle cartridge designed by Weatherby founder Roy Weatherby and was released in 1968. All Mark V rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99″ or less at 100 yards from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition within two years of verified purchase.
