The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild is a high-performance bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 Win Mag, featuring a 26″ barrel and 3-round capacity. Developed in partnership with Remi Warren, this special edition rifle leverages the historic Mark V action and incorporates an adjustable TriggerTech trigger, spiral fluted barrel and bolt, skeletonized bolt knob, and radial Accubrake ST.
The Mark V action is engineered as the world’s strongest, built around a signature multi-lug bolt system with nine locking lugs on the magnum version to safely handle the most powerful commercially-available cartridges. Safety is enhanced by a fully-enclosed bolt shroud and three gas relief ports in the bolt body designed to vent pressure in the event of ammunition failure. The action’s distinctive 54 degree bolt throw is the shortest in the industry, delivering smooth and fast cycling.
The spiral fluted barrel is threaded 1/2×28 to accept a suppressor and comes equipped with a recoil-reducing Accubrake ST. The barreled action is finished in Carbon Grey Cerakote for environmental protection. A 1-in-10″ twist rate stabilizes bullet flight for improved accuracy, and at 6.9 lbs., the rifle remains lightweight and manageable in the field. All Mark V rifles are guaranteed to deliver a 3-shot group of .99″ or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) from a cold barrel when used with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition within Two-Years of Verified Purchase Date to Original Purchaser.
