The Weatherby SORIX is built on a field-proven inertia recoil system and engineered with precision for the avid hunter, boasting an array of features designed to elevate your shooting experience. This 12-gauge model is chambered for 3½” magnums with a 24-inch barrel chosen for superior maneuverability in tight timber and blinds. The SORIX Turkey features Mossy Oak Original Bottomland camo for natural concealment, an extended turkey choke included with the gun, and a flip-up rear sight for more accurate payload delivery.
The receiver has an aggressive competition cut for easier and faster reloading, with an oversized bolt release button (slammer button), charging handle, and safety to ensure seamless operation in less-than-ideal conditions. The receiver is drilled and tapped (8-40 holes) to accept mounts and the stepped barrel is equipped with a LPA fiber optic. The SHIFT SYSTEM™ allows users to easily swap the charging handle and safety to have a left-handed shotgun experience.
The receiver and barrel are coated with Cerakote to help resist the toughest elements, and the stock has textured touch points for a non-slip grip and a soft cheekpiece for comfort while shooting. All SORIX models are crafted in Italy with unique hand-painted brush patterns finished in Sheridan, WY. The SORIX is compatible with the popular CRIO® Plus choke tube pattern and comes with 5 chokes, a choke wrench, and a convenient choke tube carrying case (cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, full).
