Auto-Ordnance honors the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the Army with this commemorative M1911A1 Pistol from the “A Salute To Service” series. Chambered in .45 ACP, the firearm features a two-tone Cerakote finish combining an OD Green upper receiver/slide with a Coyote Tan lower frame, accented by Black Oxide controls.
The slide is marked with “ARMY” on the left side and “United States” with a “250 Anniversary banner” engraved and painted in Cerakote FX Gold on the right. The top of the slide displays a CNC-engraved Army dress uniform layout with black and gold accents. Custom laser-engraved wood grips complete the design—the right panel depicts a colonial soldier representing the Army’s origins, while the left panel shows a modern-day soldier reflecting the Army’s continued service and evolution.
Built on Auto-Ordnance’s standard 80-series Government format M1911A1 with a GI profile slide and fixed sights, this pistol includes a curved mainspring housing and one 7-round capacity magazine. This premium commemorative honors a quarter-millennium of service.
