Barnes LRX (Long-Range X) bullets have been developed to match the advancements in rifle accuracy and extended-range optics. Designed after the TTSX, the LRX is manufactured with a polymer tip for quick expansion, and a copper body featuring a long profile and boattail design for match-grade accuracy at long range with an incredibly high ballistic coefficient and terminal performance that delivers the quick, clean, ethical kills you’ve come to expect from Barnes.
The Barnes LRX Long Range Hunting projectiles were developed to match advancements in both rifle accuracy and extended range optics. The bullet features a ballistic coefficient of .486, a .284 bullet diameter, and is composed of a solid copper body with a polymer tip and weighs 145 grains per projectile. The boat tail design features a precision heel radius. Each box contains 50 projectiles designed specifically for reloading purposes.
The solid copper core combines with the polymer tip to boost ballistic coefficient while initiating rapid expansion of the projectile on contact, resulting in a large frontal diameter for maximum energy transfer and deep penetration on game at either close or extreme distances. LRX bullets are manufactured with 100-percent copper, lead-free bodies, making them an excellent choice for hunters seeking premium long-range performance and ethical shot placement at distance.
