Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum forgings and hardcoat anodized per MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2, this receiver delivers durability and Mil-Spec compatibility. The assembly includes a BCM PNT Trigger (Polished Nickel Teflon), BCM Enhanced Trigger Guard, BCM Mod 4 Pistol Grip, and features three rear sling mounting points.
Equipped with the MK2 Receiver Extension—approximately 3/4″ longer than carbine length with 8 positions in 7076-T6 construction—and the MK2 Mod 1-T0 Buffer at approximately 3.8oz, this system optimizes reliability and recoil management. The BCM Mod 2 SOPMOD stock is optimized for intermediate length receiver extensions and features improved lines that enhance shooting in the prone position while remaining snag-free. The stock retains a patented internal latch system and ambidextrous rotation-limited QD interface with an improved VBOST sling retention point and two additional web sling attachment slots.
