The AP53 Pistol is chambered in 5.56x45mm and utilizes a Semi-Automatic, Roller-Lock Delayed Blowback Action. Inspired by the legendary HK53, the Century Arms AP53 is a compact yet powerful pistol built by military manufacturer MKE and rigorously tested to NATO environmental standards. This is a purpose-built tactical platform that delivers rifle-caliber firepower in a maneuverable package.
Two 30-round polymer HK33-compatible magazines are supplied with each pistol. The pistol features an 8.3″ cold hammer-forged barrel, a classic Navy-style ambidextrous selector, and an MP5-compatible wide handguard. The barrel is capped with an HK53-style four-prong flash hider on its muzzle. Fixed front and fully adjustable rear sights provide reliable aiming solutions for target acquisition.
