The EGW CZ 557 SA 1-Piece Picatinny Base 0 MOA (Mfr Part 80924) is a scope mount engineered specifically for CZ 557 Short Action rifles. Machined from solid 7075 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum with a matte black hardcoat finish, the one-piece rail measures 5.488″ overall with a height of 0.552″ from receiver to the top of the Picatinny. This Picatinny-style base is compatible with both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings.
After machining, the mount is tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long-lasting durability. Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The entire mount and accessories—from mounting screws and wrench to packaging—are made in the USA.
Installation involves tumbling, sand blasting, and Type III anodizing, and EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (sold separately) during installation.
