The Dead Air Blast Shroud DA465S is designed to tame the concussion of short-barreled rifles and pistol-caliber carbines. The Blast Shroud mounts over existing Dead Air muzzle devices or can thread on directly, and it diverts the bright flash and annoying concussion forward of the muzzle, creating a much more pleasant shooting environment for the operator and everyone around him. Built from 4140 HT alloy steel with a 17-4 stainless finish in black nitride, the DA465S weighs 3.1 oz and measures 1.87″ in length, with a .458 Cal through bore.
This .458 caliber shroud is specifically designed to fit the DA458 Xeno and DA452 KeyMicro adapters with 1-1/8-28 threading. The Dead Air Blast Shroud reduces muzzle rise to a minimum in order to maintain sight picture for faster follow-up shots. The design provides less concussion and sound for the shooter and those next to them for faster follow-up shots and less annoyance to everyone nearby.
The parts of the Dead Air Blast Shrouds are interchangeable with other Dead Air Accessories and Suppressors, making other configurations on different applications easily obtainable.
