The Dead Air Blast Shroud with DA458 Xeno Adapter DA465XNL is engineered to reduce muzzle concussion and flash from short-barreled rifles and pistol-caliber carbines. The Blast Shroud is designed to tame the concussion of short-barreled rifles and pistol-caliber carbines, diverting bright flash and annoying concussion forward of the muzzle, creating a much more pleasant shooting environment for the operator and everyone around him. The Dead Air Blast Shroud reduces muzzle rise to a minimum in order to maintain sight picture for faster follow-up shots.
Constructed from 4140 HT Alloy Steel with a Black Nitride finish, the DA465XNL measures 2.56 inches in length and weighs 4.6 ounces. The shroud features a .458 caliber through bore, and the included DA458 Xeno Adapter provides a secure mounting interface. The DA458 Xeno Adapter is constructed from 4140 HT QPQ Black Nitride material, features left-hand threads on mating threads for Xeno muzzle devices, and is compatible with 1-1/8″ Socket and 1.5″ Hook Spanner tools.
The parts of the Dead Air Blast Shrouds are interchangeable with other Dead Air Accessories and Suppressors, with other configurations on different applications easily obtainable. The Adapter uses industry standard 1-3/8-24 (HUB) threads, making it compatible with many silencers on the market, and the Xeno muzzle devices and Xeno Adapter attach together with left-handed threads, eliminating your worries of the adapter unthreading from your silencer when removed.
