The GBRS Group Hydra V2 is a dual optic mount engineered for end-users, featuring a 2.91″ Optic Centerline that enables faster target ID when gear such as EarPro/Comms headsets, Gas masks/CBRN, and Night vision equipment would otherwise obstruct the sight picture. Finished in Flat Dark Earth, this aluminum mount accommodates all red dot sights with the Aimpoint MICRO T-2 footprint. The elevated mounting position promotes a more athletic posture and heads-up attitude, allowing you to maintain a vertical spine for better plate presentation while enhancing processing speed and situational awareness.
The patented design incorporates an elevated MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny platform for direct attachment of lights, optics, thermals, and aiming devices—an advantage for compact PDW/SMG platforms where rail real estate is scarce but accessory mounting remains essential. A pass-through neck design accommodates cable management or iron sight passthrough on AIMPOINT and Trijicon variants. Constructed from 6061-T6 Aluminum with Type 3 Class 2 Hard Coat Anodize finish, the mount weighs 6.5 oz. and includes installation tools: a long reach T10 key, long reach 3/32″ hex key, and ¼” drive T25 bit.
