The Great Lakes AR-15 Pistol delivers semi-automatic performance in .223 Wylde, a cartridge that shoots both .223 REM and 5.56 NATO ammunition. Built on a 7075 aluminum upper receiver and frame, this pistol features a 7.5 inch 1:8 Twist Heavy Barrel (HBAR) available in either 416R stainless steel or 4150 CRMOV with Nitride finish and 1/2 x 28 threads. The 7.125″ aluminum 6061 handguard is fully equipped with picatinny rail for mounting accessories.
The gas system consists of a 0.750 Gas Block in Black Oxide paired with a Pistol Gas Tube, while M4 feed ramps ensure reliable feeding. The trigger breaks at milspec 5.5-6 lb pull, and the grip is mil-spec polymer. A muzzle brake is included and designed to be wrench tightened at 6 degrees forward without Loctite. The pistol comes with a pistol buffer tube only—brace not included—and measures 23.5″ overall with a weight of 5.0 lbs.
This model ships with one 30-round capacity magazine and comes with no sights installed, leaving the full picatinny rail available for your choice of optics or iron sights. The Cerakote finish in bronze provides durable corrosion resistance.
