Built in Michigan, Great Lakes Firearms has earned quick recognition in the firearms community with American-manufactured pistols constructed from American-made components. The Great Lakes AR-15 Pistol is chambered in .223 Wylde and features a 7.5″ barrel finished in ultra-smooth 4150 black nitride. The .223 Wylde chamber accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO with equal efficiency, and the 1:8″ twist rate maintains accuracy across most bullet weights.
The heavy barrel includes M4 feed ramps, a .750 gas block, and a pistol-length gas system with standard 1/2 x 28 threading and a ported compensator. A 7.25″ 7075 aluminum M-Lok handguard surrounds the barrel, providing attachment points for mission-specific accessories. The upper and lower receiver set is machined from matching 7075 T6 aluminum with all mil-spec components. This AR15 pistol series ships with a pistol buffer tube only.
Each unit includes one 30-round magazine. The compact profile, flat-top picatinny rail, and M-LOK modularity make this platform well-suited for tactical applications, home defense, and precision shooting.
