The Magpul M-LOK AFG (Angled Fore Grip) represents the evolution of research and refinement applied to the original AFG and AFG-2 designs. The direct-attach M-LOK mounting system combined with minimalist construction delivers a high-strength grip weighing just 1.2 ounces including hardware. The M-LOK AFG is 3/4″ shorter than the AFG-2, yet maintains similar gripping surface area while enabling a wider range of mounting location options. Despite its compact profile, the grip is engineered around natural body mechanics to deliver comfortable, stable handling that reduces fatigue and supports precise weapon control. The angled design positions the shooter’s hand high on the centerline of the bore—unlike conventional vertical fore grips—to help mitigate recoil and facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots.
