MEC has built a reputation for manufacturing durable presses built to last, and the 600 Jr. Mark 5 stands as MEC’s most popular single stage model. This redesigned press incorporates features previously found only on MEC’s higher-end equipment. The 600 Jr. Mark V is adjustable for 3″ shells and purpose-built for 28 gauge reloading, making it well-suited for those working with smaller gauge shotshells.
Each reloading stage—depriming, priming, resizing the metal base, measuring powder charge, seating the wad column, measuring shot volume, and forming a tight crimp—completes with a single handle pull. The MEC 600 Jr. Mark 5 delivers eight to ten boxes per hour output and accepts the 285 CA primer feed as an upgrade, eliminating manual primer handling. Both new and experienced reloaders benefit from its straightforward operation, minimal effort requirement, and the proven performance this single-stage reloader has delivered consistently over time.
